Now that you have had the opportunity to take a couple of days to be Thankful. How has that benefited you? Are you beginning to see things differently? Were you able to find things to be thankful for on a simpler level?
Life doesn't have to be complex. If we break it apart like a puzzle we can put it together one piece at a time and guess what-sometimes those pieces that you don't think will fit in the beginning, come into play later.
You have to develop a plan. We initially may choose pieces that have obvious similarities to those on the box, and put them together first, or we may decide to stick with the more structured, solid edges and work from there toward the center. Oftentimes, we do both.

Similarly to a puzzle we learn how to piece together our thoughts, ideas and focus on the bigger picture so that we can achieve our ultimate goal. But what if you don't have the box, that visible picture to work toward? What do you do when you don't know what the end result is going to be? How can you possibly achieve it when you don't even know what 'IT' is?
The IT in our lives is different for everyone but ultimately the goal is the same; we want to Find our Purpose. Discovering this sense of self will help us to realize, and ultimately achieve the things we aspire to be or to do; on a higher plane.
But HOW?!!
Baby steps...nothing happens overnight.
Rushing into something without really taking your time to weigh out the pros and cons can have the same effect as placing a puzzle piece in a spot that doesn't fit. Sure you can stuff it in the space but you end up with bent edges or broken corners and in the long run that leads to other pieces that just don't fit. The same holds true in our lives. By rushing and not taking our time it can lead to us missing our true target or purpose in life and we then find ourselves in a job we detest or in a relationship that is awkward and we have no way of finding a way out of either.
What if I told you that you can avoid those obstacles if you are diligent about finding your purpose? Would you be interested in what I have to say?
How about if I said, that in fact, it's not me but you that will direct and lead you there? Still interested? Don't worry, I'll help. Occasionally we need a little perspective from outside sources to help us look at things a little differently. That's where I come in.
Life isn't about taking away our choices it's about regaining them. Too often we make mistakes by allowing someone else to dictate how we are going to live our lives, what we are going to wear, who we are going to date, or how we are going to act. When we start listening to ourselves, with a little focus, we can achieve more than what others imagine for us.
The test--looking within. We all have this inane gift, this hidden talent inside us. Heck, people might even be telling you, "WOW, You have a gift for this or that." Don't doubt yourself. You know you are gifted in certain areas of your life. But how can you take those talents and Find your Purpose?
Challenge 2; Finding your Purpose.-locating the impossible.
There is no magic wand or Google search that will tell you what your perfect job is, who your perfect partner is, or what your true purpose in life will be. But it can give you some great ideas; if you want it, and if you understand what your hidden talent is.
It's going to take a little practice, a little research, a little self evaluation to know what it is that speaks to you.
Maybe you know already. How do you implement?
Let's say your hidden talent is writing. OK, so do you just starting putting some words on a paper and voi la! You're a writer? Hardly. Think of what it is you want to write. Think of how you want your writing to make you feel. How do you want it to affect how others feel? Are you doing it simply because you enjoy words? How can you use your talent to bring purpose to your life?
For me, I love writing. But I also have a passion for helping others. So, how do I do both? By offering my words, my writings, my thoughts, ideas, positive energy & by encouraging others on their path I have met my purpose. I have discovered what I love and put it to use. Now, how do I make money at it--how do I turn my purpose into a career? There are many ways. I could write e-books, I could speak publicly, lecturing, using my talents to market my ideas or others or to teach. I could turn my talents into a stepping stone for bigger and better things, and that's the focus of what I'm doing. I haven't reached all my goals but I'm using them to achieve my purpose in life.
We aren't defined merely by one talent, one purpose. We can and often do have many things we can offer to the world. Enjoying and having peace of mind is the ultimate gift we can give ourselves. Loving the job you have, the partner you are with, embracing every thankful moment in our lives helps us discover more and more of what we want & need to make us happy and in turn bring happiness to others.
Changing our negative thoughts to positive ones is a great start. Continue practicing being thankful. It's going to take effort and being consistent. Write down your journey, ponder what talents or special gifts that you have and research; look online, read books, talk to others and consider those things in your life that really speak to your inner person. How can those talents be used? Be creative-think outside the box. Don't restrict yourself. Think big! There isn't a way to achieve greatness if you don't think beyond your own limitations.
Be confident and soon you will be on your way to not only Finding your Purpose but using it to achieve greater things in your life.
